I have this monitor, and tbh, as a tech savvy person, I still haven't figured this out.

Ok guys. I'm pretty sure this is the same thing I have.

My Dell Ultrawide 34" monitor has a similar feature, except it's only for two monitors. It's been called Picture by Picture among other things before.

The blue screen on the left is me installing Debian on my PC. The image on the right is my PS3. This is on one monitor, but the display is split where one input gets half and the other input gets half. 

Very useful and cool imo for certain things. 

This is Picture In Picture, basically one is prioritized over the other:

Edit: So, I'm wrong. Not the same thing at all.

I think Linus said something about it in either his 34UM67 or 34UC97 review. It is a software that just allows you to chose four windows of your choice and split them to the four quarters of the screen.
