Help needed!

So i received a windows update last night, it all went well and windows was updated. The next day (today) i tried turning on my pc, it boots up fine but just before i get to the login screen, it stops and stays on the blue screen with the mouse and loading icon.after maybe 20 seconds or so, the bottom right of the screen starts to flash black and blueconstantly. (See pic) i tried restoring / booting in safe mode/ disassembled the pc and put back tohether but nothing seems to work. I am trying to stay away from having to format my hdd as i have unreplacable pictures that are unfortunately not backed up.

I have waited on it for around 10mins. Just constant flashing. My pc is roughly 4years old, i7 2600k -gigabyte gah67ma usb3 motherboard - msi gtx760 - 2tb seagate green - 16gb ram - cx750w psu

Well if is a blue screen note down the reason behind the BSOD. It should say some driver or something as a .sys file

Keep it on for a few hours. I've had a computer open the recovery center after 8 hours and I managed to save my files before I factory reset the HDD.

Sounds good, I get BSOD's all the time too so it's not a big deal to me anymore. I will c what I can do.
