Fallout 4+New PC

Two weeks from now, I'm finally building a new PC. Does anyone know if any graphics card manufacturers are running deals? Either way I'm planning on getting the game once the PC is built. Two weeks until Black Friday for me.  Is anyone else gunning for a similar deal?

From the looks of the intial drivers I would say go nvidia if you can, but by the time you get aroudn to building your PC amd might have sorted their shit out.

My Nitro 390 plays Fallout 4 at ultra settings at 60fps. But if like Nvidia the 970 is a great GPU too.

There is a 970 with a Fallout backplate, but that's about it.

On the plus side, the SSC is usually capable of hitting 1500 MHz. On the negative side I can't go on eBay and buy that fucking backplate to slap on my card since I have the EVGA GTX 970 SC.  :angry:

I'm a Bethesda fanboy and I think that backplate is hideous lol. It's got holes in his head, very poorly planed out. Nice GPU though.

I'd love to put that on my 970. And it looks like it would be super easy to paint by myself, but the goddamn backplate that fits my card has all these big holes that would fuck it all up.

Why didn't they go Robco, or anything from the Fallout universe that would be easy to work around the holes with. And that fan shroud. Some Kia is looking for it's dash. I was jealous until I saw it. They should have used a reference cooler. I would have got one.
