GTX970 Fallout 4 max settings.

I am getting dips into the 40's sometimes while in cities or building and was wondering if you guys experience that as well.

Had the same thing with my GTX 770 its only happened when I was on top of the buildings but I didn't find it that big of a problem and I normal get around 60-70 FPS btw.

This game seems to really like moar corez. Try turning down settings involving shadows, those are cpu killers.

Nope run a constant 72fps everywhere on a 980 though.

how have you made it cap at 72 fps, I have changed the ini file from 1 to 0 but it is capped at 60 now instead of 30

What monitor do you have? I have a 144hz so it defaults to half at 72fps.
