Diablo III

Younger brother has been pestering me for a few months now.

 

Went through Diablo 1 and 2 back in the day, but never really looked into playing 3. Is the game worth to try/purchase? If I remember correctly Diablo 2 had two expansions yes? Would 3 follow suit if thats the case?

 

Playing FF14 as of now, work being very heavy I dont get the time to really play anymore unless its the holldays. These kinds of game is nice for my work load, since I can get on and off it for 15 mins with out worry. Unlike many games that lasts at least 30 at minimum like Dota 2 or LoL, which you need to finish.

Diablo II only had one expansion, The Lord of Destruction. But what an expansion that was.

 

I think Diablo III is worth buying. Atleast I had fun playing it.

But as with Diablo II, it is best enjoyed with some friends.

I love diablo 3. I play it all the time. It's a great game to hop on and just roll, Although you have to enjoy the aspect of farming and improving your character. There's lots of fun builds that came out with season 4, some better than others but all are fun to play. Let me know if you want a powerlevel to 70 or if you want to play the story mode I understand. All n all fun game it does get boring from time to time, I highly recommend playing with friends.

d3 is a good game, until youre max geared

Really takes me back playing the first one. I guess thats why I wanted to try it out, I miss the games that you play as a single player.

 

Been 8 years and counting now. Playing games with co-op/multiplayer/mmo. Social games is nice and all but I miss the times where you play by yourself, thoes real single player games. So question would be is, are there aspects of the game that you only get to experience if you have a friend? Or is it like the "Old (No such thing as DLC)" games where everything you can get everything playing alone.

D3 has a plethora of issues ...but ..if u find it and its expansion ROS on sale for a good price, then yea its worth it, especially to find out how the story goes.

 

The majority of issues the game has are all end game so if u don't intend to grind for gear and paragon levels once u reach lvl cap / complete ur 1st play through, then u wont experience most of them.

each game has had one expansion. first game had HellFire, diablo2  had Lord of Destruction, and D3 has Reaper of Souls.

personally i think if you are going to get it, you HAVE to get RoS, its manditory for the game to be enjoyable, but it is amazing and worth picking up

Is there any legitemate sites besides Blizzard that sell it digitally? Since blizzard prices both at $39.99USD, maybe someplace has it cheaper. I'm not really a buyer of games outside steam or physical copy.

i would just get a physical copy on sale somewhere, you've gotta install it to the battle.net launcher anyways
