Ok well I am useless with tools and metals so I have no ambition to make one. . . but I have just ordered some custom sleeving for PSU, I don't have the minerals to sleeve them myself, but it does mean I will still be able to see the stock sleeves coming out of the PSU, I'd like a way to do this, but I'm not sure what is the best way to go about it

case is a define mini, I also have an intake fan at the bottom which I think is probably quite useful so that still needs to function too.

thanks

Minerals? You bought sleeving and can't sleeve but you can see the stock sleeving? But you're looking for a piece of metal for a shroud?

I think he means to say 'Materials'

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Ok Lets try again

Basically I bought this

CB-077-BX_72161_350.jpg

Also an 8 Pin and 2x 6 pins

and once I've put it all on I'll still be able to see the stock cables coming out of my PSU . . . I was after a way to cover it up, so it'll be out of sight, out of mind

Are you saying you want a shroud to cover the sleevings?

well something like a shroud, I'm not good with metals and wood and cutting and modding though, so was wondering if anyone had links or ideas of stuff they've done for similar situations

stuff like this (is there somewhere that make stuff like this for you?)

If you're not good with metals and wood, try to get the best looking cardboard sheet you can find and paint it to match your case...

Get the strongest cardboard you can find and some carbon fiber vinyl wrap and figure out a way to stick it in your case

ahh, the old PSU cover shield trick.. ya gotta be careful on this case. since you are

using the floor fan, and the lower front fan will get "cut-off" by installing such a cover.

since the designing of the newer cases (midi/mini/R4/XL) the define mini has to have

the worst flow of them all. after battling with one i finally moved to the arc mini just to

get appreciable temperatures.

and since you say you don't have the upmph to do it, not a lot of customizers offer

such a service. even just fashioning of from a cardboard box for a trial can't hurt.

then once tested for fitment and function, transfer all the sizes to a thin gauge ally

and snip with tin snips or a sheet metal shop for a nominal fee.

this should be in the case modding section.
