Dcp pump issues

So, my dcp pump startes acting weird. Accually, when I turn on my system it wont run, i have a switched set between it and the motherboard to control speeds manually. Dont work. But when i put it directly to the motherboard, it runs at max speed. 2000rpm. What should I do?

If it's a PWM verion you can just control the speed that way through PWM but if it's only the 12V version I don't believe you can vary the speed via voltage control.
