I've been having a hard time finding new measures or data on Crossfire, where new GPU's and OLD GPU's are compared with the newest drivers in the newest games.

I wonder what kind of scaling we're getting?

-I do somehow believe that old cards like my own HD 6990 are NOT getting the same optimization through drivers as the new ones are (Especially in GTA V).

Just wondering how  they stack up! Would love to watch a video on this!

depends on the game. tomb raider was really good, others don't even support it.

Also drivers! People with new cards say GTA V is buttersmooth on their 270x -> Fury X

I'm experiencing major stuttering while driving. Same cpu, just different GPU.

Tried turning off crossfire. Buttersmooth 30 fps on max. (except textures, 2GB)

Yeah tombraider uses 90+% of gpu. nice scaling. Same with rocket league.

My 290/390 crossfire scales nicely. Though honestly with the 390 playing every game at max settings I have yet to use it in a game.

Yeah, another point to the video. 290x and other cards received a major lag+stutter fix with the latest beta drivers.

I didn't experience ANYTHING haha. From the omega driver 14 something, at the time the first GTA V beta driver game out, and until now.

NO difference with the newest beta driver. Others with newer cards state that it's running with no stuttering.

I'll check out Witcher and see if it's fixed.

Nope, still busted. Let's hope the driver works so that crossfire is possible in Fallout 4.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

I really hope fallout gets nice crossfire support :D

They don't have the stupid thingy like Nvidia, the way it's made to be played, or the one for AMD right?

So they should optimize for both. Hopefully.

I just got the new driver from AMD an hour ago, and it wasn't available this morning. It lists Fallout 4, and has a crossfire file, all we can do is wait for someone with duel cards to try it. I'm on the East coast of the US so I'm hours away from being able to try.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
