This is SURPRISINGLY DECENT!

Let me explain this first, my actual desktop is in repairs and I am getting tired of the laptop getting really bad performance in games n such so my father though since he is moving his office for his company to give me one of the old server pc's to me early and give the others once he finishes transferring the data to the best one of them. Lets just say that this PC is really outdated.

Specs:

Motherboard: Unknown

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 435 (3 core Maximum 2.9GHz)

CPU Cooler: Stock

Case: IDK

RAM: 2GB DDR2 800MHz (WOW SO OLD but then again still somewhat ok)

GPU: I slapped a GTX 750ti I had lying around)

HDD1: some 500GB Hard Drive

HDD2: Extra Storage 1TB Hard Drive

OS: Windows 10 pro

PSU: Some 350Watt shit power supply

So I was surprised of when I slapped the GPU in it and well CS:GO ran at around 40-80FPS average at 1080P, Black ops II zombies ran at around 75-100FPS. that just blew me off my rocker but of course any game requiring more than 2GB of ram will not run but still those games running properly on this type of machine says that well this computer still has potential if you just slap a 750ti in it xD.

Also as a side thing for fun he also gave me 2 monitors now making so I got a total of 5 monitors and 1 TV I'll list what they are (not models because im too lazy to find out what they are)

28" 4K 1ms 60Hz TN (I bought it)

24" 1080P 6ms 60Hz TN (Got it as a bday presie)

23" 1080P 5MS 60Hz IPS (Got it as a bday presie)

21.5" 1080P 5MS 75Hz TN (Got it from when I got the old ass PC recently)

20" 900P 5MS 60Hz TN (Got it from when I got the old ass PC rencently)

42" 1080P ?Ms ?Hz TV (Got it back in 2008)

i am also getting 2 crappy PC's from him as well as some old ass laptops (hopfully one is decent so I can use it for school since my alienware sucks donkey dung)

This is the power of the 750 Ti. It only requires a few inches of clearance and a PCIe 16x slot. For a hundred bucks, it can turn almost any PC into an ALRIGHT gaming PC.

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

The 750ti is the new 7750... But better

Pretty similar to my computer lol

haha, I don't plan to use this desktop for long, I want to go back to my dual 980 ti build as soon as its fixed, then I replace like half of the parts to give to my sis and upgrade to a dual xeon build o-o

Exactly, this is why I will never say that the GTX 950 is supposed to be the successor to the 750 Ti as it requires a 6 pin connector and might be longer. Stick some more ram in there and multitasking will get better

I don't plan to use this PC for long so I plan on spending what like $15 on another 2GB stick of DDR2 800Mhz and just make it a family storage PC for like pictures and stuff. (Using the 1TB HDD that is)

Perfect, wait use freeNAS and turn it in to a NAS server

? to be honest I don't know what a NAS server do. Can you explain it to me :D?

You install FreeNAS on it, then you put it on a shelf or something, leave it alone, let it have power.

Then you can use other computers to put photos and data on it. It acts as a central server for data for all the other computers to access
