What is the absolute best PSU? It needs to be atleast 1000watts and must be compatible with cablemod cables. Any suggestions?

The Corsair AX1500i is up there with the best of quality and whatnot, though it's hilariously expensive. The EVGA P2/T2 is up there as well and is less expensive and Cablemod should have cables for them.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

It is but there are such things as diminishing returns. That Seasonic is absolutely phenomenal so don't hesitate with it if you want it for its color.

The Corsair is probably better by some marginal amount, however I would still cry every time I saw that Seasonic because it's so freaking pretty, is made so well, and is going to last probably 20 years or more.

I have that power supply and that thing is loud during start up, I wouldn't recommend it

If it is just durinf startup, nothing wrong with it.

There are better power supplies out there, I personally will be looking into some Be Quiet! power supplies. They have some interesting stuff, but I don't know many people that have their equipment. I would still recommend looking into something else. When I bought this power supply, I expected 100% silence at all times hence the name. I feel ripped off honestly.

SeaSonic is SafeSonic. Everything from them is quality, look into the EVGA GS which has an Eco mode for near silence when not under lots of load.
