So I decided I wanted to finally build my own gaming pc. Just wanted to make sure all the parts I've picked are going to work together and see if you guys have any more suggestions about what I can change on the build. Links included for easy searching.

CPU - i5 6500  I plan on picking up a 212 Hyperevo cooler.

I decided to go with the 6500 over the 4590 because they are the same price right now. I was also going to go with the FX6300 but I thought these processors would be the better deal even if they cost double.

Mobo - ASRock Z170 Pro4 LGA 1151

Can someone tell me if this mobo is compatible?

Ram -  DDR4 8gb G.Skill Ripjaws V Series

Storage - 120gb SSD Kingston Digital

1TB Western Digital Black or Blue (can't decide)

Video Card - XFX R9 380 4gb Was going to go with the MSI version but Newegg has these on sale with mail in rebate.

Case - Sort of undecided, need recommendations. Either Corsair Carbide Series Spec-01 or Thermaltake Versa H22

Power Supply - Corsair CX600 I would have gone with 500 watt but this one is on sale with a $20 mail in rebate on Newegg right now.

Please use PCPartPicker, it makes things much easier.

If you're going with a locked CPU, using a B150 or an H170 board will save you a few dollars. Yes, you could go with the Z170 board and be fine with it, but it's not necessary.

The case is on you.

I don't recommend you get the CX power supply. Those units will fail if they are put under any stress and a graphics card is one of them. Spend a little more and get a good EVGA/Seasonic/XFX/Etc power supply that won't burn your entire system. Those CX units are for grandma and her Facebook/Youtube machine.

Adults are just kids with bigger wallets.

I want to stay around the $700 to $800 mark. I had actually planned on this power supply until I saw that one on Newegg yesterday. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DGHKK7M/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=CHPMC5QZ4YJW&coliid=IGI6CPRMJDC4M&psc=1

B1 is okay

but you should really pour more money into the PSU, a G2 is recommended

you'll want to spend more money on a PSU
