Any negatives to this?

nope... will work just fine.. will just look lost

It might look a bit small in the case.

You might have less future available expansion.

 

I've done it, there's nothing really wrong with doing it.

There's no physical downside, apart from the motherboard looking TINY in comparison to the amount of available space in your system.

nope, apart from it'll look small compared to an ATX board.

 

less ram slots maybe?

no support for multiple cards?
