Are 4gb 770's reference?

Actually, I totally agree with you. I can totally see the 9970 destroy the 780/ titan. I can see never settle forever be amazing. And I know that the 780 is the same speed as the 7970. But I already have a 7970 and the performance I get out of it is amazing. I can run crysis 3 on max settings no problem, and I don't see a more demanding game coming out any time soon. And I already own all the games from never settle. But, there are something I don't like about the 7970. First of all, Asus has set the volatge at 1257mv. That means that the card runs at 83 degrees(I know its not that hot, but it still feels wierd to have a card at that temp) . And yes I can lower the voltage, but almost the second I do I get it unstable. Then there's the fact that it is a triple slot. And don't even get me started on gputweak. But then nvidia seems to have some cool features that are coming, like shadow play and shield and physx (lol just kidding about that last one)

7970 is not as fast as a 780 its as fast a a 770 in AMD games and slower in Non AMD optimized games Crysis 3 and Bf3 are the only big games the 7970 slightly wins over the 770 which when you think of it doesn't sound right since the 770 has around 500 less processing cores but its true I think the 9970 will be as fast as a 7970 if the 7970 had the same per core performance as Nvidia's products so with that said I would say it will be as fast or faster than a 780.
