Anyone have experience with 25" ultrawide displays? How are they? I was read they are too small and then they are a fine size. What do you all think?

way too small imo, id want a 34" ultrawide (27" 16:9 size) - a 25" ultrawide is like a 21" monitor

i have one , an LG 25ub55  , they are indeed not big but that was perfect for my since i only can fit a 25inch /29inch max ultrawide monitor due to my roof

Also i sit pretty close to it , about 50-60cm which makes it bigger

the LG 25ub55 is an amazing monitor for 199 euro but its not available anymore i think( where i live)

nice IPS panel , OC to 70Hz , very loud speakers , matt finish and included stand isnt bad at all but i use a wall mount

They have a high DPI so everything looks sharp

my rig ( fx-8370@ 4.6GHz / Nepton 240m/ msi 970 gaming / 16 Gb corsair xms / antec VP700P /  aerocool xpredator x1 white / costum rgb lights / r9 290 direct cu2 / 1 TB hhd/ sandisk 128gb ssd / adata SP900 128gb )

peripherals ( steelseries apex / sharkoon fireglider black / razer goliathus / lg25ub55 )

DPI? Dots per inch right? I always thought that was a term for mice. Learning something new everyday!

Yep , DPI is also used for mice speed , so it can move for example 3600 dots per inch in one second

Amazing for movies and gaming , for gaming you will need at least an R9 290 , I get depending on the game 40-60fps on ultra with it. Also you get more work space since you have 2560x1080

The only drawback about 21:9 are the blackbars in 16:9 content

I use HDMI as my main driver right now anyways. Idk if that is bad or not? And my 2nd display has DVI which is what I use for that.

I also use HDMI since it didnt came with DP cable , theres no difference between HDMI and DP on 2560x1080, DP can just support higher resultions @ higher Hz and for freesync & g-sync is DP needed
