Hello

atm I have a h100i gtx in my PC but when I do nothing on it or whatch netflix i can hear it and I want a more silent option

Would the h110i gtx be better because of the two 140mm Fans?

Or should I switch to air cooling (which i don't really like because it takes a lot of room an it wouldn't look as good)

my budget is 150€

I have an i7 6700K but I won't overclock in the next 1-2 years but i am doing some intense stuff on it (3d rendering,...)

Thanks for the help

Akadis

IMO switch back to air cooling

AIO pump and fan noise is what makes them noisy

Your H100i is fine, you just need silent fans. If you still want high performance yet silent operation, get the Noctua NF-F12 PPC 2000 PWM fans.

the nepton 240m has a couple of really nice fans with it and i've personally kept them because they do a great job, the Kraken x61 has a couple of decent fans but you can always chance them out for some NF-A14's or something like that

ok i go for new fans should i connect them to the pump header or onto the motherboard?

as far as i know that corsair AIO has a fan control thing in it, so you could try that and set the fans to run a bit lower, the stock fans are fairly loud so maybe even with new fans it'll reduce the noise by enough, or if your motherboard has a CPU_OPT header, plug the pump into there and use a PWM splitter to connect the fans to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard where you can control them directly.

what motherboard do you have?

Maximus VIII Hero

Atm i have connected the pump to the pump header but i get warnings because no cpu fan is connected so using a splitter would be good
