where to learn programming online?

hi there i've started to learn programming, i use lynda and udemy and other useful sites or really good books?

python and c# to be specific

I dislike ^ myself, though that's just my opinion of it.

I prefer to learn stuff through trial and error, and lots of googling xD (I've taught myself pretty much everything I know of java this way, just going over other peoples code, seeing how they did it, trying different ways to see what works best, etc.. and pretty much just going from there.)

For python, I can probably send you over the notes I've taken for a Python programming course. However, I think most people agree, the best way to learn to code is to just do it. Write code, run it, and troubleshoot, run the code in your head. You can also find Python documentation here: https://www.python.org/doc/ I refer to it every time I'm troubleshooting my code.

Depending on what you want to learn. CodeAcademy is amazing. Lynda.com is also great but I dont think its free?

 

And if you want to learn web stuff like HTML/CSS w3schools is great too!

I used TheNewBoston to learn most of Java then examples from class

You can learn python at codecademy.com. I'm not sure about where you can learn C#. Barnacules has a video series called Codegasm to get you started in C# and MSDN is a great resource too.
