What GPU?

Hi,

 

I will soon be building my first PC. i am going with triple 1080p 27" monitors (yes, i know that is big).

Now, my question is: What gpu should i choose? 

I am thinking of buying a 390 because it is within my budget and it has 8gb of vram.

But what do you think?

Not entirely. The 290x runs much hotter and uses more power for only a few frames difference per game. That's why I went 390.

I'd rather have the 290X... Take the more powerful core, put it under water, flash to the 390X bios...bam.  390X for the same money as a 390.

I am sadly robbed of installing a liquid cooler. My people are a gently people, we Sapphire fanboys. Our great god Sapphire is giving in it's cooling potential. But to remove such godly power, why that is heresy. And I have been bestowed with our lords greatest gift, thy Vapor-x. The shame would be double for me. No my friend, the air in my lungs will have to suffice.
