My First PC Build (Help)

Go to solution Solved by Bazilias,

Your build is fine. The only issue is that your RAM is 1866MHz but the motherboard only supports 1600 so that means that your RAM will be underclocked to 1600MHz. And you don't need a 650W power supply 500/550 Watt will do just fine. Try to go for an Scythe Mugen 4 or Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler.

Hey guys

I am very new to PC building and to the site. So I just wanted some confirmation that my parts will be compatible. I am very happy with the price of everything. So My main worry is that a part may not be compatible. So I would appreciate if someone could point out any non-compatible parts.

Thanks in advanced  :)

Ok thanks for the help I will look for the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO. And for the ram do you suggest I choose a different set of ram or will it have no affect on performance?

You don't have to get another brand of ram. If you can, you could swap the current set of ram (1866MHz) for (1600MHz).
