I would take the triple 1440 over the 1080.  In general i find 60 Hz to be plenty. So I would rather the higher resolution.

I feel like 144Hz is over rated am I correct?

Well I have 144Hz and I never use it. It probably depends on the games you play. I don't play csgo anymore so it isn't too useful.

IMHO yes still for racing sims, because unless you are going to go SLI 980ti you can't push surround on a nice enough looking surround to make it worth it.

But that's my two cents. Quality over quantity.

I love 144hz, even for reading .pdf files...  just something about it makes it amazing.  My 60hz monitors feel laggy in comparison (for reading.)
Now gaming, this applies if I can get that 144hz.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

Surround is super overrated

I disagree.  I love my triple monitor setup.

Not necessarily for gaming though.  For productivity sake I need my 3 monitors.  I like to spread things out over three monitors.  I work with excel and vba alot, so its nice to be able to have the real estate to be able to see everything I need to.

Also gaming at 5760x1080 can be amazing.
