New build help

Alright so I'm selling my cpu for $290. In my wallet I have $130. 290+130 = 420. For an I7 6700k maximus viii impact and 8gb ram it cost 750. So if your subtract 750 and 420 you get 330. So does that mean even thorough that I'm spending 750 once you subtract the money I make selling the cpu and the 130 that I already have, in the end I'm only spending $330? Thanks

Correct. Or in other words you need $330 dollars more.

Why not buy a cheaper mb and save some cash?

Well... theoretically yes, that's how addition works. 0.o

Yeah, effectively you are only spending 330.
