I was just wondering when will adobe update their suite of software to support open cl and work with the amd cards, because I don't want to always buy geforce cards to get amazing performance out of the adobe applications.

Well CS6 has support for OpenCL on all of the Mercury engine based programs and CC has support ^_^

All but After Effects has supported OpenCL since CS6.
