Upgrade to Skylake or nah?

I'm wondering if I should part with my AMD 8350 after two long years to the new i7 6700K.

 

I feel like it's holding me back in terms of gaming performance, from what I know Intel processors are much better for gaming than AMD..

 

Is it worth the upgrade? Or should I just keep what I got?  :huh:

the i5-6600k would work better for cheaper if you're only gaming. Also replace PSU whilst you're at it c:

 

 

yes. i would consider haswell also. those processors still have lots of life in them 

I did consider Haswell too, it's a lot better bang for buck. But I think I may choose Skylake for future compatibility and also so I can upgrade to DDR4 memory.
