No, I am not talking about the reference jet engine... I am talking about the Tri-x version. My brother's PC which I did the case design for, I have four 120mm fans on the bottom and an open gap on the top. Images can be seen in the CableMod sponsored build log below. Anyway, when I took the cooler apart to plasti-dip it, I replaced the thermal paste with Arctic Silver 5, properly cleaning both surfaces. I know I got the right coverage, not too much, ect. I also replaced all of the thermal pads for the VRMs and vram chips with the spares from my EK waterblock.

But when gaming, the card is quite loud!! You would need to ask @Iamdarkbowser what his gaming temps are, but I do not THINK they have gotten to 80 yet. How loud is this card normally? Am I just used to my liquid cooled machine's silence?

But in seriousness I dropped like 6c off of my Classified from stock paste, of course I replaced the paste 5 minutes after I got the card just to test if it worked, lol.
