Freezes for  roughly 5 seconds and then crashes correct?

 

Are you getting the " ERR GFX D3D INIT " error?

So my GTA V keeps crashing. Just to clarify i'm on the latest drivers, i'm not maxing out my RAM, and because i have and R9 380 i'm using DX10. Here are my specs, oh ans btw i made sure do get the latest GTA V update. I've verified my game cache and it still doesn't work. I really don't know where to go from here. Another thing to note is GTA V worked perfectly with my old GTX 560.

- MSI R9 380 @ stock speeds

 

-AMD FX 4130

 

-8 (2x4) GB G.SKILL Ripjaw X

 

-1920x1080 (just incase)

are your crashes random or in a certain spot?

about 1 minute in of gameplay before it crashes

yeah after 1 minute it will freeze or black out my monitor completly. Most of the time i have to restart. However i havent gotten any error messages.
