Hi guys! I am a new Ubuntu 15.10 user and I found that Unity tweak tool is a great alternative to the standard settings because of the greater control over the system. My issue is that whenever I change a setting, there is no "Apply" button and the settings don"t automatically change. Please Help! Thank you in advance!

I've never had a problem with it before... is it possible they changed something in 15.10 and the tool hasn't been updated to match yet?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Are you sure you aren't getting the "org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad" error popup? It is a known problem in 15.04 and up, I do believe.

Can you open a terminal and use the following command?

sudo -H gedit /usr/lib/python3/site-packages/UnityTweakTool/section/system.py

Don't edit anything but paste the output of the file for me.

That is what I suspect, I am installing 14.04LTS now and I will see if I works there and then wait a bit until 15.XX is straightened out

I am currently using a different computer to post on but the error code included       "The name org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files"

Alright, still worth a shot checking the file to see if it is configured to use "org.gnome.settings-daemon.peripherals.touchpad" instead of being configured correctly to use the following instead: "org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad".
