So, basically, I managed to spill something that may or may not be mountain dew on my K65. It only got on the CTRL key, which decided to turn into a sticky key. I was wondering, is there a way to replace the key? Like, just, the whole thing? I know it involves soldering stuffs, but I don't know where I would buy keyswitches or soldering kits. Also, I doubt it's covered by warranty, but has anyone been able to get Corsair to replace keys?

Take the key apart and spray some contact cleaner in it.

Wouldn't I have to take the key off the board to do that?

Wash your keyboard.  Like toss it in the machine, you know.

I don't think that spinning my keyboard around at high speeds in water will do much good for it :P

My keyboard doesn't need a full wash, I just need to clean/replace a single keyswitch. People do a full wash like that immediately after dumping several liters of Green Goodness on it

if it is an rgb it is going to be hard to buy a switch unless someone is parting out an rgb keyboard. Your best be would be to try to clean the switch. You maybe able to do it with out removing the switch you would have to look around for instructions on that. Maybe just try pressing the button a lot to see if it helps

here is a blog post by daskeyboards about spills

Just unplug the keyboard and clean the switch.  I spilled coffee on my mouse one, it got into the sensor... now THAT was a bitch to clean.

It's been sticky for like 2 weeks now, it's not that easy. The mouse, I've done that too, absolutely way too time consuming

You can saturate the switch with liquid (alcohol), to dilute/remove the sugar.  Let it dry, 3 days-1 week? and plug it back in to your PC.
