Yes but you need to remove the hdd cage

On LN2. Which may be too extreme for some users but it easily out does the likes of the G1 Gaming becasue the Strix has superior VRM for it. Not to mention some XOC features. 

 

The Strix is the better card when under water i imagine. If the user is willing to push it.

I know alot about 980ti's and the strix is a very fast and cool card.

IF you set custom fan profile, because the stock just makes it the worst non-reference 980 ti when it comes to load temps

you should compare it to Matrix (Platinum) not Strix because Strix isnt ASUS Premium series, and G1 is not a Premium so dont put it there

This is my card boosting to 1440 MHz from the standard 1190Mhz, whilst keeping temps at 64c and the fan speed below 65% RPM. Ambient room temps are always over 25c, usually 28. The shots are tabbing out from in-game. It doesn't coil whine. At all.

Bear in mind there is a factory OC mode which pushes this to 1493Mhz. Manual will get you 1519 MHz. This card has a low ASIC of 64.1%.

By all means post screenshots of what your card will do, I'm interested to see just how much better the other cards you refer to are.
