This past week, i've been having an insane amount of problems with my internet.  I got a technician from my isp to come check it out, and he couldnt really do anything.

Today my phone died, and I noticed that everything was back to normal... when i got it back on again, everything went back to the broken way it was before.  Toggling wifi on my phone turned out to turn off/on the problems i had with the wifi.  I don't know why my phone is taking up so much bandwith, as there is nothing i can see that is installing or updating, and there is nothing that i am uploading/downloading myself. Could this be some kind of virus? What could I do before just reseting my phone?

Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Try going into your router configuration pages and turning on/off QoS settings and WMM settings. Just a suggestion, as for example, without WMM turned on, my iPad 4 won't even bother to connect to our router at home. (Not that the iPad 4 has good internet anyways, because it plain out sucks)
