Hi guys,

I've recently bought an Acer notebook with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. I don't want to use Windows 10 Home, can I downgrade to Windows 8/8.1 without re-installing? And If I recall correctly, I would need a new Windows 8/8.1 license, right?

Looking for your responses. Cheers.

Give me a boost.

Why not though? It's faster, has more features, dx12, and continued ongoing support.

You should give it a second shot.

You can't downgrade to Windows 8.1

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Software I am using at work does not support Windows 10.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love WINDOWS 10 on my gaming PC, just in this case I can't use it.

Give me a boost.

If you bought it pre-installed, you can't downgrade because there was no lower Windows version installed on the notebook. So you need to reinstall with another OS like Windows 7/8/8.1

Weer wat geleerd ;)

Bek houden Naser :P En bedankt he :P

Give me a boost.
