I am going to build a gaming pc for Christmas. But I can't decide what CPU and memory to get. Here are my part's:

Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

(?)Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory(?)

(?)Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor(?)

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card

EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case

Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Western Digital BLACK SERIES 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

I want at least 60fps at 1080p for the games this year and the next one. And to last me for at least 4-5 years. My budget 1800 dollars or less.

If you don't edit a lot of video or stream games an i5 4690k would be enough and that kit of ram looks good (I would personally pick the least expensive kit of ram in the capacity what i need)

You don't need a 980ti for 1080p , even a 970 or 980 is fine.

You don't need more than a 600w psu for that build .

You should get a z170 board and a 6700k instaed of that haswell cpu.

Some games see a significant improvement ( watch digital foundry's video on i7s in gaming )

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

You must mean r9 390 , not 380.
