Even more of a reason to go laser due to me not really playing the FPS genre?

 

Also, what issues do lasers have?

i said it before acceleration

just the slightest mouse acceleration is unacceptable on high end fps mice and there is no such thing as a genre specific sensor.

the reason why most fps mice use a optical sensor is because like i said before "just the slightest mouse acceleration is unacceptable"

 

MMO, MOBA and RTS players might not notice slight mouse acceleration and that is why laser sensors are used on those commonly.
