Backstory

Ive found two amazing computer mice that fit my very large list of requirements.  However, as they are both great, i cant really decide which one to get.  In this topic post, im going to say a few advantages of each mouse and see what you think i should get.

The Mice

The G. Skill RIPJAWS MX780.

The Corsair Sabre Laser Sails Logo Edition (this means no terrible yellow logo).

A Few Advantages, Slight Disadvantages Of Each (Not All Of Them) That Would Affect Me And Some Conserns

The MX780 has adjustable weights so it can be heavier than the very light Sabre which is close to 100g, this can be good because 100g may be too light and will move too easily.

The Sabre has more height which would be better than the flatter MX780 because i plan to palm grip.  (i have smaller hands so palm grip is for me).

The MX780 has adjustable rests for right and/ or left hand users, while the Sabre is just for right handed people, this is not a big one as for i am a right hand user but i am throwing it out there.

The Sabre has a nice soft finish (or so ive read) that covers the whole mouse (except a few certain buttons) where as the MX780 only seems to have it on the left and right click buttons and possibly the palm rest.

The Sabre has a full layer surface (except a few certain buttons) so you dont have any dips except for the thumb and maybe the last two fingers grip, where as the MX780 has a more unlevel surface.

Main Concerns

The unlevel surface of the MX780 (comfort worries compared to the much more layer level design of the Sabre).  The supossibly light Sabre (i dont exactly know what 100g feels like off the top of my head but i just dont want the mouse to be flying as i move it and the same goes for a heavy mouse but it weighing too much while the MX780 can adjust the weight).  The flater design of the MX780 (im palming and dont know if my smaller hands will be better with it over the more bulkier Sabre).  The MX780 Might be too long (i have smaller hands and dont know if it will fit).  The Sabre maybe too small (but slick said linus said its fine).

Sorry for the short question but that is most of it.

Any Help Is Appreciated.

This one has got a lot of praise on different review sites lately, i don,t know how the price compare to the two you're looking at but i think it's worth checking out:

what games do you play? Competitive shooters or more casual stuff?

Casual mostly, only real shooters would be arma 3 and payday 2 (not a fan of csgo) but even on casual games i can be competitive (just throwing that out there).  My main concern is comfort for my smaller hands palm grip idea, no claw grip planned at all.

I would take the Corsair Sabre, the reason i asked if you were into more competitive stuff is because that is a laser mouse. and laser mice have a pretty bad reputation.

There is a optical version of the same mouse tho.

Some high end optical sensors can track on glass

and have fun aiming with the all the mouse acceleration

Never said you needed high dpi

and 100$ for only the sensor or the mouse?

True but the "acceleration" made it sound like it meant that, however i think that it may be a different term.  And the mouse.

belive me when i say this

on the current market optical sensors are more refined and reliable than laser sensors

maybe in the future laser sensors will be better after their issues have been fixed but for now the optical mice reign supreme inside of fps mice for a reason.

most pro fps players use optical mice for a reason

Even more of a reason to go laser due to me not really playing the FPS genre?

Also, what issues do lasers have?
