Go to solution Solved by Ophidio,

do you recommend OCing it? or just get slower ram

so just go for 1intel  750 400gb and 2x2tb wd black?

yes, the performance you will get from the Intel 750 will make the other SSD look like a normal HDD. The Samsung 850 is a good sata SSD but compared to a Intel 750 it's just an expensive HDD.

As for your other question honestly just get slower RAM. You won't even be able to notice a difference between the speeds, just go with the highest the mobo supports without OCing.

what will this be used for, gaming? if so its way overkill

but anyways, when youre in your budget range i would go with better hdds than barracudas and would get a different psu, the corsair while good is overpriced.. there are better options out there

CPU: i5 6600k @ 4.6 ghz  Motherboard: Asus z170-a  Cooling: Corsair h80i GT GPU: EVGA GTX 970  Ram: G.Skill 2x8 gb ddr4 2400  PSU: EVGA G2 Supernova 550w  Case: Corsair 200r Storage: 250GB 850 EVO + 2x wd 1 tb drives

i would recommend anything by seasonic or the g2 series from evga, and for hdds i would go with caviar blacks or blues

If you want a PCIE SSD you need to go with an Intel 750 series. Samsung PCI-E SSD's are garbage and yeah go with Western Digital Black 2TB HDDs not the Barracudas. You won't get better performance but you won't have a harddrive die before you even get it filled.

The Intel 750 will be faster in certain areas. When gaming you won't notice any difference between it and a regular Samsung 850 EVO. Things like load times will be very similar.
