So I am currently building my own system.

This is my motherboard:

This is my case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139018

I was placing the motherboard into the case as one of the steps of the build and came across a problem one of the screws would not screw, all the other screws worked fine except for just one which seemed to wobble in the hole it was placed in and not screw all the way in when using the screwdriver. What could be the problem here, I made sure I was using the correct screw here its almost as if the the space the screw goes into was too big for the screw.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? the motherboard seems secure either way since it has all other screws except just one.

Anyways just wanted to ask, this is my first build after all.

Thanks.

-SNIP-

If it's just one screw it won't make or break anything but just make sure it's lined up and you didn't strip the threads, if it's the center screw most of the Corsair cases have a stud that is used for aligning the board and doesn't require a screw.

If it's the middle hole that's not meant to screw in it's a holder

I will say straight up, it's more common than not for one of the standoffs not to want to go in.

It's not a big deal at all.

Hell Paul from Paul's Hardware considers 6/9 good enough.
