External Hard Drive Recommendation

My mother needs more storage for her laptop, I asked her for all options and she wants external hard disc. It is just going to be used for photos.

I have an Silicon Power A60 and I haven't had any problems with it. It is waterproof and drop proof which is perfect for me. It also comes with a 3 year warranty which I like

WD Elements is a great simple external drive that should do the job. Since you are looking for a simple storage solution just for storing photos, it wouldn't really matter what drive you'd choose. I could also suggest checking out WD My Passport as an option that features hardware encryption compared to WD Elements Portable. Here's info on both drives:
