Eh, I was an Age of Empires kid growing up. Far superior RTS IMO.

Battlegrounds was a spin off of Age of Empires.

It was made by the same company, after the success of the first and second AoE.

I loved the old Total Annihilation game.  I also quite loved Supreme Commander.  Such great games, I just wish they had better multithreading support.

I played tons of supreme commander forged alliance because my friend wanted to play TA but I wouldnt go to those graphics

All I remember about it is building mining devices on lakes of some kind of metal and that my younger self always called one of the sides 'knobs'. Not even sure why.
