New rig, PC doesn't boot

Go to solution Solved by solomongrundy,

I'm sorry. I'm new to building a PC. Whats a EPS?

Power pins are the 24pins connecter right? there isn't any other pins that has the same features tho.

Seems like this board has a 4 pin connector about quarter of the way down in the middle.

Make sure it's plugged in.

Just build a new PC. Got everything sorted out. But once I turn on the power, front and back fans are spinning, gfx is running, dvd drive as well... for a good 5 sec before it power down. and the cycle is repeated. The only thing I notice that was not spinning was the stock CPU cooler fan. Although it did nudge abit but wasn't really spinning. Could someone tell me what's going on?

EPS is the 8 pin that you plug into the top left part of your motherboard.

Does a mini ITX has that? I checked my user manual, didn't stated it has.

sorry didn't realize you had an itx system. It could also be a 4 pin.

Thanks guys. It's up and running. Haha. I bet this is the easier solved problem out there. Thanks a bunch. Might come back in the future for more noobish problems
