How can I get a field to ONLY add cells at are green(good).

I have this formula, nothing fancy.

=SUM(C13,E13,F13,L13)

This excel is used for my bills. I have each cell highlighted different colors, yellow if unpaid, green if paid on time, red if missed payment.

I want to be able to calculate how much I've spent as of today rather than as of the whole month how I will spend.

So it is currently adding both yellow and green fields.

Is there a way to get my cell to only add the green fields?

Sorry if I'm not making any sense.

I know there is AVGERAGEIF, but not sure if a SUMIF would work for this or how I would even use it for this matter.

This explains it

It's good info, but doesn't seem to be working since I'm not using a solid color, I'm using a style "Good" "Neutral" and "Bad"

Oh are you using conditional formatting?

BTW what I do for my bills is

Column A - Bill amounts - my set outgoing payments

Column B - Bills paid so far- I fill these in as they go out

Column C - Spending - other things I buy

Alsol - Total Paid in (my monthly pay/any payments made/things sold)

then I do a few simple calculations

Total  paid - bill amounts

bills paid so far + spending = left to pay

total paid in - left to pay = how much I need to keep back to pay bills

and then I am left with - money left to spend

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.
