R.A.T 7 problems

Soo. My mate gave me his old R.A.T 7 mouse, cause he said it wasn't working. Turns out it isn't. The mouse defiantly recives power because the lights light up, but whatever we try it won't detect. None of the Mad Catz software nor device manager will pick it up. Any ideas?

Anyways, I would suggest getting a new mouse.

4 Years ago, the rat was a good, solid quality mouse. Then cyborg was absorbed by madcatz, and production moved to a much cheaper chinese factory line. My rat 7 does the same thing, however, my revision 1 rat 7 back from years and years ago im using right now, still going like a boss. (Yes, i have two. A very old one, and the newer broken ass one)

Well I'm afraid you're out of options. It's a hardware-based problem clearly and there isn't much you can do about that without sending it back to Mad Catz, assuming it's still under warranty.

what i can say either the circuits issue

 

you cant do much unless you are good with electronics and circuit soldering
