Is this sub $400 build good?

peter325

I have brought everything expect the cpu,gpu and mobo.I was building a sub 400 dollar gaming pc but than I said why not return the AMD apu and mobo and get an Intel i3 I want to make sure that this is an ok build for well I  know mine craft, cod, gta 5 and some other games.Because I don't want to cheap out and also is this mobo good enough for overclocking.

Most games now will require 4 or more cores hence the i3 is a bad choice.

The APU is decent but will not be the greatest performer, especially with more intense games. What settings do you plan to run at?

I would change the windows version to windows 10 just because I like the added functionality, but I'd say this is a pretty good budget build

I would upgrade the cpu but that's all I would change

An intergrated GPU isn't really going to get you very far... an R9 270 will be great or even an R7 2/360 would be decent for you but you'd have to stretch your budget by $50 for the R7 260 and $100 for the R9 270 :/

Don't get the APU, it would not benefit you with a dedicated GPU. The only GPU to benefit it would be the R7 250X and it wouldn't perform nearly as well as the R9 270
