Hello LTT. Lately I've been developing a psychological exploration game called Cognition. I've been private about the development thus far, but I'm starting to worry that the mechanics and overall design might not be accepted by the public. So in order to get more opinions, I'm considering making the development more translucent; specifically with LTT. Considering this community is what taught and inspired me to be able to even do this in the first place, it would be really nice to see feedback of the community.

In order to refrain from spoiling the game and such, I'll still be limited with what I show off on here. However, first and foremost, would you all be interested?

I'll give details of the game if I decide to go through with this.

You're almost certainly going to get 90-100% "yes"

I'm hoping you guys could help me get greenlit in the coming months as well. I plan on giving away a free beta keys on here when I get to that stage.

Hm. I'll probably consider it further down the line. Would you recommend I start a kickstart as well? Not sure how successful those crowd funding things ever are, but I suppose it would be better than minimum wage.

I don't know much about kickstarter. I would atleast have a place to donate. Also with github you would probably have to do less work. It's also great for keeping tabs on bugs

You have to believe that your game is really good, you're fucked on Kickstarter. The competition is rough af. You also need really nice design, but...  B) if you do need any design done, I'm your guy  :P

I was actually intending to request help from this community. So I'll keep you updated ;)

Besides, I don't think it'll be too difficult to raise $1500-$2000 on kickstart. The competition isn't that rough is it?

You do know your odds of success are very low. It won't really be feasible to do this fulltime. Side note, what engine are you making it in? Is it 2D?

I never planned for it to be full time. It's in ue4 so no.

What engine/language are you developing in? If it's Unity and C# I'd love to give you a hand if you need it.
