Headset cord wont stay straight

I have the Sennheiser G4ME ONE headset and i am for the most part very satisfied with it. But the braided cable just always wants to curl/tangle up and its very irritating. I stretch it out and straighten it and thats that for a few days but then it always finds itself back in a mess of twists and tangles. If anyone knows any tricks to fixing this that would be great, thanks!

This should help, and use cable ties when its straight.

Stretch it and heat it using a hair dryer, just don't melt the insides of the wire
