Is it possible to change the boot image on motherboards?

I'm talking about the image that shows up when you turn the computer on. Is there any way to change that or make it so it doesn't show up?

PC: CPU: i7-5820k  GPU: GTX 1080 ROG Strix OC 8GB  RAM: 32GB DDR4   SSD: Samsung Evo 850 1TB  Board: MSI X99A SLI PLUS  Case: Corsair 760T

Laptop: Apple MacBook Pro Retina 13" (i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM)

Enable fast boot.

Depending on your mobo, it may have an option in the BIOs to disable the splash screen. I know my Asus one does, not sure about MSI though.

older asus boards had this options; IDK if new ones do... (I know both P5E deluxe and Rampage II gene both had that option)

I can confirm that at least all x99 and z170 asus boards have the option (any board compatible with AI Suite).

 

Cannot confirm any other manufacturer.
