Hi,

I've got a setup at work with a RAID 6 array 6x 3TB drives. I still have 3x free slots in the server so I was wondering about doing an SSD caching solution to improve 4K reads and writes. I couldn't find anything elaborate on RAID 6 caching so I'm posting here. The RAID 6 already benefit from 4x improved reads- most users will be reading from the array. I am looking at something like 2x performance increase in speed- is this feasible to do? I'm not constricted by a budget. I was looking at the PCIe NVMe 400GB 750 from Intel.
