windows 10 lag

Hi guys i needed some help with my 6mth old laptop. I have a eurocom m5 pro with the following specs

I7 4720hq

Gtx 980m

4k 60hz sharp izgo display

8gb of 1866mhz ram

128gb plextor m6e m.2

1tb hitachi travelstar hdd

I have 2 main problems

1) after upgrading to win 10 it has become really slow with long wait times for stuff. I have even done a complete reinstall to see if an app was slowing it doen but even after a clean install it runs slow compared to whrn it was on win 8

2) even though i have 1866mhz ram, it still recognises it as 1333mhz ram.

So is there anything i could do to solve those issues?

what do you mean by "lag" ? Describe what is "lagging".

 

Do you actually do a clean install, as in completely wipe the drive and re-install Windows 10 through the ISO? Or did you just do a factory restore/reset of Windows 10 using the built-in tool?

 

Did you actually install the latest drivers after formating?

have you turned off the background monitoring and update sharing?

could be putting abit more load on your network

The laptop (Lenovo B50-30) I have has specs that don't even compete with yours but still runs Windows 10 extremely well, you'll have to define "lag" for us...

You can check the task manager and tell us the CPU, RAM and Disk usage when u are not running any applications other than background processes and stuff or may be a screenshot of the task manager.

When i say lag i mean load times for various apps takes a shit long time... like even when im on my desktop and i right click it just takes a while to prepare the options and like i keep getting that annoying cursur with the loading symbol. And no i only used win 10s tool and not a format and reinstall...

When i booit up cpu usage is around 25% and i dont know why... but no matter what i do i cant get the laptop to recognize my ram as 1866mhz so i jeed help with that too if possible thanks a ton guys!
