Asus Strix 980 Ti - is this reason to RMA?

nm76

Hello. I have a problem with my card Asus Strix 980 Ti. Card overall working good , without crashes, no artifacts. Also one problem i have.
On fan speed 44% ( from 1200 rpm to 1350 rpm ) i have a very small rattle noise. I must close my ear to card to hear this. Above or before that speed all is quiet. I dont know what to do now. thx for help. Better to rma card ?

If it's insignificant and you can't hear it unless you get really close, it's probably fine.

Quote me in replies so I see them.

Yeah.  A month later both fans were GRINDING and then stopped working.  This was after only 6 months of use.

Weird. I dont know what to do now. On fan speed 44% ( from 1200 rpm to 1350 rpm ) i have a very small rattle\clicky noise. I must close my ear to case to hear this. Above or before that speed all is quiet. So is this enough to rma time?

no. all fans rattle a bit, its the electromotor doing the noise. probably just at that frequency you can hear it. unless its really audible from a normal distnace, its nothing.
