Hi guys!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question. I apologise if it isn't.

I'm flying from the UK to the USA early next year, and to be honest I've never been on a plane for such a long time before. I was planning on taking my phone (obviously) as well as a tablet (I'm getting one for my birthday) with me, and I was thinking it may be a good idea to purchase a battery pack / bank to charge my phone and tablet on the plane so I don't get bored. Are these kind of things allowed on flights? I know there are some battery rules but I can't make any sense of them. Note: I haven't bought a pack yet.

Thanks for reading!

Not sure which airline you are taking, but the ones I've taken all had USB ports and AC outlets on the seats.

And yes, small USB power packs are allowed.

I'm flying with American Airlines, and I've looked on their website but according to that they don't have USB ports etc in economy class.

I've never been on a plane that had anything like those and I've been on about 16 flights.

Sig under construction.

Swiss, Singapore, Qatar, Etihad, Thai and Air France, at least on the flights I've taken, had them.  Even in economy class.
