@StormGamer25 For 60fps, yeah, I think so, but it'll last you a long time. For 1080p 144fps, it's perfect.

It may be slightly overkill today, but what about in a year? 2 years? I like buying something a little overkill today that will last me a good while. the 390x is an excellent choice in my book.

It's not overkill for 1080p. It's not powerful enough for 60 fps at resolutions higher than 1080p.

Lmao it's nowhere near overkill for 2 1080p monitors. Gl running witcher 3 maxed graphics with 60 fps. Benchmarks show one 390x avg about 57 dps with no hair works. My system only averages 80-85 maxed out everything.

It's a fair assumption that the 2nd 1080P monitor will be used for multitasking and the other monitor for gaming, in which case is still the same performance as one monitor. It'll near max out most games at 1080P.

And due to crossfire scaling, its usefulness can be extended even further with a second, third or even fourth card-especially when you consider the vRAM.

there's no overkill for new games like The witcher 3, GTA V

 

as even the 980Ti can't do maxed out settings with MSAA on 1080p
