Would this potentially cause issues?

 So - as we all know, Asus don't really include memory cooling and it got me wondering, will the memory running constantly at 1300Mhz cause of the 2 screens cause heat issues? I mean, is the incidental airflow enough to keep the memory cool?

Memory doesn't output much heat. It'll be fine.

I dont quite understand what you mean. So are you asking if the memory(RAM) was running constantly at 1300Mhz will the screens over heat/heat issues? What exactly do you mean by "the 2 screens"?

The main reason I'm worried is the memory was overheating on the Asus 280X but I think that was to far OCed or overvolted.

when you have more than 1 monitor the VRAM clockspeed doesn't drop to 150MHz on idle.

Without some sort of heatsink, I wouldn't overclock the memory very far, but without overclock/mild overclock should be fine. Especially keeping volts as low as possible.

it's at stock - the reference 280 is at 1250, Asus set the 280 to 1300. Should be fine I guess. Think memory is at 0.6V
