I think that this is really good for the people that actually do play the game as I remember the good ol days from Runescape and when i decided to try the game 2 weeks ago I didn't even think I was playing Runescape anymore. Doesn't really apply to me though as I quit playing this game a while ago and have no intentions of playing it again.

I quit around 2010 and gave my account away but luckily I saved one of my pure characters.;)

Like Dim already mentioned we really need 750k votes for it to be amazing and i don't think that it will happen.

i was prepared to pay for RS back in those days, i'm prepared to do it again for a game I loved.

also its possible our old accounts could be restored as well, if they use the full backup.

I loved RSC, love RS2 can't stand EoC. Just feels like some half baked WoW clone these days.

Mmh, 500K is still plausible. That would mean ALL players would be members. This is the target I think we will hit, as it cuts out free-to-play bots and other nonsense.

I'd be prepared to play the regular member's fee, and I haven't played in about five years.

Paying additional for the game, though, is something terrible. $20 a month? Hell, $10 a month? Way too much for the game that it is. $5 a month is fair and realistic.

I'll probably play purely for the nostalgia.

If people spent as much time as they do advocating for a stagnated game as they did pestering Jagex to improve the current Runescape, it would be unmatched. Jesus people get your priorities straight. Most of the whiners haven't even played the game recently, they're just jumping on the hate bandwagon and putting their opinions where they don't belong.
